_Personal Churchism

I'm currently reading John MacArthur's Truth War and it is my personal observation that what we see today in the radical changes that is happening to modern Christendom, the subjugation of Christian precepts to pragmatism, of eternal perspectives for the temporal, is all due to what I call "personal churchism", where in response to the post-modern culture, having brought out from dry communitarian Christianity, every truth claim now must be subjected, bent, twisted, contextualized, repackaged, and whatever you want to do, to fit that personal flavor that the post-modern man so desires.
