_All Praise to the Name!

Why O why, O Lord of Heaven
to come down to earth and take my soul
even in the midst of sin so darkened
you see not me, but Christ behold.

O, the joy that is in Christ Jesus
the righteous life inputed to me
He died for sin, on the Cross all wrath was given
then raised from the dead, and justified me!

O, praise to the Name of my dear Lord Savior!
Eternal Hell is all I ever deserved to gain
but so all for Grace that the Lord alone would glory
He took my sin gave me life & gave me Christ, alone who reigns!

All praise to the Name of the Lord of Heaven!
Sin and death is all that was in me.
Judgment and wrath is what I must be given.
His son lived and died, died and lived, raised to Heaven that a wretched sinner like me may be given eternity!
